In 2014, the General Board of Church and Society of The United Methodist Church published the Bible study, “Kingdom Dreams, Violent Realities: Reflections on gun violence from Micah 4:1-4.” In 2016, this document was revised and updated. As we know too well in 2023, the violent realities are often much more prevalent than our kingdom dreams. All are invited to join us in this three-week study on gun violence and Micah 4 as we interpret it once again based on our present context.
